So Silly ...
Every Friday Ryland's class has "Show and Tell". And this is what he picked to take in last Friday! All of the kids loved it and went crazy when he rolled it into the room!
I am wondering if they will put a size limit on "Show and Tell" as a result of us wheeling in this big truck :)
Whenever you ask Ryland to smile he squints his eyes really tight ... love him!
Running like a mad man through Publix last Saturday night. Grocery shopping on Saturday nights is great because no one else is there!

Banana Popsicles ... No No No
Last night we went to Publix after dinner and Ryland was a hoot! Our shopping experience started with Ryland helping me put a box of crackers in the cart and all of a sudden he said to Tab .. "these are a good price". The lady next to us heard him and thought it was hilarious! She even invited him to go shopping with her so that he could find all of the sale items for her.
And then there have been these random looking frozen banana popsicles - dipped in chocolate in the freezer section that have always been calling my name. But they look like something that you never know if they will actually be good or not. As we were strolling down the ice cream aisle, I noticed that they were on sale - Perfect!. This was my oopportunity to give them a try. So I opened the door, picked up a box and started walking to our cart to put them in. All of a sudden Ryland started saying "No, No, No" ... walked up to me, took the box of frozen banana popsicles out of my hand, and marched them right back to where they came from. It was the funniest thing that we had seen - I thought Tab and I were going to die laughing right there in the middle of Publix. And by the way ... the banana popsicles are GOOD! :)

Riverside Park
We met the Govan's at Riverside Park to play in the water and on the playground. It was a perfect Sunday afternoon. Ryland loved running through the water and hanging out with Stella. We will definitely have to go back soon.

Happy Birthday to Maddie!
We went to Maddie's 3rd birthday party this past weekend at Gymboree. This was our first time going to Gymboree. All of the kids had a lot of fun!
It was definitely hard to take good pictures of the kids since they were running around and did not want to stop to look at the camera but here are a few. I did not get any group pictures - maybe next time.
Children's Museum
We got an annual pass to the Atlanta Children's Museum and went for the first time last weekend. Ryland LOVED it. He was a little overwhelmed at first when we got there but warmed up to everything pretty quickly. Here are some pictures from our fun morning ... We cannot wait to go back again!

June 16th, 2012 - 2 1/2 Years Old!
Ryland had his 2 1/2 year check up last month (I know ... I am really late at adding this post). Dr Loventhal said that everything looked great. And Ryland is getting better about not freaking out the entire time that Dr Loventhal check him out. I think he knows that he gets a sucker after it is all over :)
When we were waiting on Dr Loventhal to come in the room Ryland went immediately to the "knee hammer" (not sure what those things are called). And knew just what to do with it. I think he has definitely been paying attention to the Elmo Doctor DVD that he watches. He got a kick out of hitting Tab's, mine and his knees with it.
We got the good news that both of his ear tubes (2nd set) still look good.
And staying right on track he is pretty much off the charts with his head and consistantly in the 30th percentile with height and weight!
Head - 52 cm (97%)
Weight - 28lbs 10 oz (36%)
Height - 35 1/2 in (31%)

Crazy Time and Beach Time ...
We have been crazy busy with vacation, work and everything else so I have not been able to update the blog in a while. For now I am going to upload some of our pictures from our beach trip last week. We had a great time in New Smyrna Beach, FL! Ryland had a blast at the beach and in the pool. And playing with all of the kids!
I will post more about our trip soon!
And about how fast our little mister is growing up! Look how big he looks in all of the pictures below!
