Bedtime Routine

Every night Tab and Ryland have their special "Ryland and daddy" time ... feeding, diaper change, finish the feeding, rocking and then bedtime prayer & good night kiss. It is the perfect ending to the day.

Play date with the future girlfriends ...

Today we have a play date with the little ones at Carolyn's house. It was so much fun to see and hang out with everyone. Ryland was the only boy and he had a blast!

9 hours!!

Ryland slept for 9 hours last night!! And probably would have slept more if I didnt have to wake him up to feed him before I left for work. School must be exhausting! Today is his 3rd day and I have to say that he looked very cute in his little outfit when I left this morning!! Tab's shirt matched Ryland's outfit which was really cute as they were waving bye to me as I left for work. I love my boys!!

Ryland's 1st Week at School

Yesterday was Ryland's first day at school and it went really well. We spent all weekend getting him ready for his big first day ... labeling all of his bottles, bibs, burp clothes, etc. ... packing his supply of diapers and wipes and extra clothes. Tab took him in the morning and Ms Unique called me throughout the day to let me know how he was doing. There are 4 other kids there (1 infant and 3 toddlers) and 1 more infant is coming in the next few weeks so he is going to have a lot of new friends. He was so exhausted last night from his busy day that he slept for 8 1/2 hours!! Lets hope that the rest of the week goes this good!

Last Day of Maternity Leave

Today is the last day of my maternity leave and I will be going back to work bright and early tomorrow morning. To make the most of my last day at home we had a fun family lunch at Pig n Chik and got ice cream after it. And then went for a walk this afternoon since the weather was so nice.

This is what Ryland said when we told him that I would be going back to work tomorrow morning ...



But his daddy assured him that it would be ok ....



Codi was just happy to be able to go outside since his foot was feeling better ...

Codi spent the afternoon playing with all of the neighborhood dogs and ended up hurting his foot. We had to play doctor and put a bandage around it and he has been limping around the house all night :( I knew that the blue pads that they sent home in my hospital bag would come in handy some day.

The 1st Family Sickness ...

This is the first time that we have all been sick at the same time. And so far it has not been fun. Ryland went to the Dr this afternoon and the good news is that he does not have any infections - just the common cold. And since Tab and I are both feeling under the weather as well we have all gotten some quality naps/cuddling in the bed together. Lets hope that we start feeling better tomorrow.
