This past weekend we were in Nashville for Lindsey's bachlorette weekend. It was a great weekend full of fun and lifelong stories!
The weekend started off with us getting to meet Jimmy Buffett! He was eating lunch at the table next to us at The Tavern. And when we stopped him on his way out he was really nice and was happy to take a picture with us. He talked to us for a minute and told us not to forget to go to "Margaritaville" while we were in Nashville! Everyone who was not in Nashville yet was jealous of our celebrity encounter!
The next day we had really bad weather in Nashville. We were all downtown at your typical hole in the wall bar having a drink and listening to a local band when the tornado sirens starting going off outside. And when we asked the bar security guy what we should do, he said that if we can get back to our hotel he would recommend running there vs going to the place that they had "identified" to take everyone inside the bar. So we hightailed it out of there and ran back to the hotel! I am sure that we looked ridiculous running through downtown Nashville, tornado sirens going off and the wind blowing like crazy. But we made it back to the hotel before the storm hit. The weather got bad while we were inside the hotel so we all huddled inside the stairwell but it did not last too long. Luckily the tornado did not hit Nashville and we all made our line dancing lessons just in time!!
The rest of the weekend was a lot of fun.
I definitely loved our girls weekend but I was glad to get back home to my boys!!
