Downtown Vinings had their Annual Christmas Tree Lighting last Thursday night. We went down there for a little while to see everything. The tree lighting was not until 8pm so we did not stay for it. But Ryland had a lot of fun. They had the local elementary school kids singing Christmas carols and all of the Vinings Jubilee vendors were there giving out stuff. They also had pony rides and train rides but the lines were too long so we did not get to do those.
And he got to see a "real" train go through downtown Vinings .. he did not know what to think at first because it was so loud, fast and big!
And another note ... Ryland actually wore his jacket!! This has been a battle for us all fall but he is starting to realize that he cannot go outside until he puts it on.
