Our visit down south was long overdue! We left Friday afternoon and made it down to Brooklet just in time for dinner. Waylon was there waiting on Ryland and they immediately went to playing. Friday night we ate dinner in and relaxed while watching the Olympics.
Ryland and Waylon took a bath together and both of their hands and feet were so "pruned" from staying in there for so long.
And then it was time to put on a nighttime musical. Ryland on piano and Waylon on guitar. It was so funny to watch how into both of them were. JJ's piano has the auto setting so we turned it up loud and watch them both try to keep up with the song.
Saturday we went to Mill Creek Park for a picnic. Tab and I went for a quick run around the park while JJ and MiMi played on the playground with Ryland and Waylon. Sam, Dustin and Whitley came to hang out at the park too. And then we all stopped by Miranda and Daniel's house on the way home.
Saturday night was Waylon's birthday cook out back and JJ and MiMi's house. Waylon turned the big "5" and he was super excited. All of the family came over and we grilled out hamburgers and hotdogs and had a great time (even though the weather was awful!).
Ryland and Tab played a little basketball ...
And then Ryland decided to drive the tractor ...
And when the battery died, Waylon was there to help push him back into the garage ...
And then it was time for a Spiderman birthday cake ...
And then it was time to hit the Spiderman pinata ...
There was even a few games of horseshoes played .. and Tab's team won!

It was a great weekend! And we cannot wait to do it again soon!
